June 6th,1944 Juno beach. Allied Intelligence misled. According to the underground the 1st/2nd SS was still moving from the Russian Front and would not be involved for at least a week. So at Juno a disaster unravelling and Tigers on the loose. With Airpower scattered from aiding the paratroops could it spare enough to help. At Omaha things even worse for most of the DD Shermans had sunk and those which reached the beach were now burning from guns still in action that had survived the Naval bombardment. Dwight Eisenhower aboard the 'West Virginia' knew all that had been discussed and those things that could go wrong were rearing their Ugly Head. Only the 'Flyboys' could save things now at Juno and some Cruisers at Omaha to chance running aground to blast the German guns raining shells down on the Americans.
