February 13th 1944 Back to the Sand. Nar Kaddalluf an important commerce route for the Allies partners in the sand had just been attacked. Sultan 'Dillahi the Magnificent' had barely escaped with His family and was in hiding. An immense Army under the direction of Shiek Attabu Mullamahr was ransacking and killing at whim, setting fire to all the towns in the area. Sheik Attabu had become disenchanted with the Allies after they renegged on a Oil Deal instead propping up the Sultan. The Arab Forces aligned with the Allies volunteered troops to be brought in by sea (though many would arrive on the shores ill from sea sickness) to try and save the Coastal towns and had a tank force coming through the Desert which they hoped could arrive in time. An Arab Air Force was also flying in.President Roosvelt also assured Ambassador Isutafad representing the Sultan (the Sultan did not talk to Westerners) some 8th USAAF Groups would aid. So back to the Sand.
