The caucasus crossing is not secured, before this vital city is under our control. It was very discomforting to meet untrained factory workers acting as soldiers in battle. There seems to be no compassion for human lifes in the red army. Some of those workerd where not even armed, but they picked the weapons of their fallen comrades. The comissars of the NKVD numbed them with a liter of wodka, before they send them into the charge, as some of the survivors reported. It is possible that once we are in the proximity of Grosny, that the NKVD will mount simular attacks. Our officers should prepare our young replacement soldiers for those possibilities. Since the soviet army seems to have such a large and inexaustive quality of artillery and armor, that they have to resort to such unhuman barbarism. Most airfields in this region are mudfields now or in extensive need of supply. Once again we have to mainly rely on our airdefences.
