Hesitance and a conflicting chain of comand prevented an earlier attack on Narvik, when the german forces where still in shock from the naval battle, where they lost 10 destroyers.
It's widely expected that they are now better prepared for our attack .
Local inhabitants reported that the germans scuttled their heavy damaged destroyers, and salvaged some naval guns.
HQ has forbidden to shell the city of Narvik, in order to not inflict any collateral damage nor any hardships on the population.
The landings will not take place in the direct vercinity of the city.
The landing troops will only land on unopposed beaches.
