The Russians can no longer be allowed to oppose the destiny of France, and we intend to teach them a lesson. Our goal is the conquest of the Ukraine, the great bread-basket of the Tsar's empire. Napoleon V will not repeat the error of his ancestor and seize Moscow only to starve there; we will take the grainfields, then sit back and see who starves this winter!
Your mission, though secondary, is still important. In order to deceive the Russians as to our goal, you will launch an attack on the Russian province of Poland. You will have limited assistance from the Prussians, but do not expect too much; we do not intend to let them fully re-arm at this time.
