Our British friends need some help training their homeguard units and we thought you and your men could use a little extra training as well. The British will be posing as an attacking German force. You and your men should set up a strong defensive position in and around London. Pay special attention to your air defenses since you won't be able to use your airforce immediately and we do expect a heavy concentration of enemy air units. And watch out for an armored spearhead of Royal Guard units in the center.

We anticipate the British assault lasting about five days. If you can survive that you should be in good shape, commander. Intelligence has calculated that the British will probably commit their reserves on or about the fifth day. Keep a sharp eye out for Reserve Group A coming from the northwest, and Reserve Group B coming from the south. These two reserve groups possess leaders of superior quality. When you see these two groups approaching your positions you can know that the British assault has spent itself. Once you blunt their attack you must abandon your defensive positions and move aggressively towards your objectives. We are going to send three battalions of paratroopers to take the enemy's airfields in about five days. This will be your cue to move out and retake the initiative against the enemy.

If you perform well in this exercise there is talk of sending you and your men back into action on the continent. Good luck, Commander.
