Commander,

I have been wondering how we could improve our training even further as the storms of war threaten Europe. I've decided to have you face off against the French. Publically, the French are confident that they still have the most powerful land army in the world. Privately, they are terrified of the Germans. The French still remember their pyrrhic victory of just over 20 years earlier.

In this excercise, I am having you face a young colonel named Charles de Gaulle. He is famous among tankers, but the French government hasn't been listening to him. We have selected Savannah, Georgia again because of your experience there. That should give you a home court advantage. He'll be bringing elements of the French 3rd and 17th Divisions along with units from the two rapid strike divisions. I believe the French call them DCL for Divisions de Chars Legers, French for Light Armor Divisions. But they have some B1-bis tanks in the "Light" Armor Divisions.

Once again, you need to "hold" Savannah, but also strike north.

Good luck. Do well, and make me proud.
