Gent, Belgium - April 4th, 1970

Twenty one years ago to the day, the North Atlantic Treaty was signed in Washington, D.C. It included the five Treaty of Brussels states (Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom), as well as the United States, Canada, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland.

Due to the success of the mighty Warsaw Pact army, all nations have opted out from NATO; except one; Belgium.

You will assist the USSR in removing this final obstacle to European peace. You have one day (one turn) to occupy all the Victory cities. Your reputation is at stake.

Good luck.
