Operation Dawn 8 - February 9th, 1986

Important tips:
Go to a city in order to refresh and supply your troops whenever it is possible.
You have no airfield because in the real battle the weather
was so bad that Irak could give no air support to his troops on the battlefield, this was the main reason why they lost the Fao peninsula.

General, The Fao peninsula is under attack. We cannot hold it because
a rain storm prevents us to give arty reinforcement and air support.
Try to make your reteat slow and kill as many Iranians as possible.
Maybe you can push the first wave back. This will give time
to lay mines all over the peninsula. Good luck!

Historical backround:
Dawn 8 is considered to be one of Iran's greatest achievements in the IranIraq War. The Iranians were able to capture the Fao Peninsula, cutting off Iraqi access to the Persian Gulf in the process; this in turn hardened Iraqi attitudes to prosecute the war.
