Operation "Weserbung"
April 9, 1940r.

The domination of the "northern flank" of Germany - Denmark and Norway, spent the night with Hitler's eyelids. That is why, in the early 1940, a Weserbung operation plan was developed, which assumed the acquisition of Norwegian and Danish airports, coastal abutments, and, above all, the preparations for the Allied counterattack. The plan assumed the occupation of Norway and the introduction of a pro-German co-operation government, which Vidkun Quisling had set up. Hitler organized 7 divisions, 1121 planes and a navy for this operation.

Operational tasks:
-The task of the Lord's people is to obtain and secure the crossing and airport of Oslo, and the airfield of Drammen. We expect a weak resistance from the Norwegian army, but their aviation and navy should not be underestimated. Support for the discharge from the air will be the sea squad of the 163th Infantry Division.
