H03 GREEN DEVILS v.4.2

In Germany, after taking over by Adolf Hitler, any ingenious and innovative solution capable of ensuring Europe's domination quickly and effectively met with the support of the highest political and military authorities. Such a solution was precisely the concept of destroying overwhelming enemy forces or the dynamics of offensive activities using air strikes.
Hermann Gring was commissioned to create German airborne forces. He, the task of organizing and training this new formation, entrusted the Technical Commander of the Luftwaffe School, Kurt Student. He perceived the combat value of a new kind of army. On July 1, 1938, General Student took command of airborne troops belonging to the Air Force and was the 7th Air Division (Fliegerdivision 7). Since then the Fallschirmjger troops have taken part in many important battles and operations of the Second World War. At its initial stage they were used in the role they were intended for, ie airborne operations (eg in Norway in 1940 or in the Battle of Crete in 1941). These formations were organized and equipped as motorized infantry, so since 1941 they have often been used as rapid reaction units on the eastern front. In the final phase of the war, the paratroopers were almost exclusively assigned to defensive tasks, so they fought as conventional infantry (for example, in the battles for Normandy, the Battle of Monte Cassino, the Siege of Siegfried, or the Battle of Berlin).
Important! Losing a HQ in any scenario means defeat.
