Facing the expected Polish impact on the Kingdom of Hungary, the authorities of the Association of Pomerania and Prussia began to build defense.

The first line was the battleships of the volksgrenadiers. Nobody even deceived themselves that the five-centimeter guns of the PPP would stop the Polish tanks. But it was time.
There was even a stranger formation: "1st Armored Division of the Volkssturm".
Although her "bourgeois" left much to be desired, she did not have any gun plot, but was ordered to make counter attacks in the direction of Frombork and Elblag.

In order for these troops to escape where the pepper grows, they were told that just behind the back are units with "wonderful weapons", and their apparent weakness is supposed to be a trap for Poles. In fact, they themselves were trapped and their one task before a certain death was to give the defenders of Konigsberg some time.

The lack of aviation, which was so striking in the battle for Gdask, unexpectedly managed to settle in a strange way .... In Germany there were a lot of pilots, but Berlin did not agree to make the aircraft for another fuss with the Poles. But the planes were on the other side of the border, in the USSR, where the pilots lacked - it was enough to combine both. No one doubted that Stalin would issue a bill for this help, but now it was not the most important.
