Excessive optimism about the mobilization and operational capabilities of the Polish and Czechoslovak Army has been particularly evident at the moment individuals are on the starting positions. Only a motorized brigade was transported from Czechoslovakia and several battalions resembling a common ground - to defend the rear.
The three largest squadrons of Czechoslovak aviation were relatively strong.

Polish forces were little different from those who participated in the Trutnov operation. In the bomb brigade were listed Fokkery on osie, and from 22000 mortars were pulled from the Heavy Artillery Regiment. The pinch of the strike was to be the Volyn Brigade of Cavalry, though, on the basis of what had been done so far, it became increasingly clear that it was not a developmental weapon.

In this situation, "SGO" Rybnik "was again to become the backbone of the strike force.
