                                              II LSKA WAR

After a year the Germans realized how a great hole in their industry caused the loss of Upper Silesia. They had to make up for this loss. At the beginning of 1938, Hitler issued a command to prepare a plan for the occupation of the Czechoslovak Sudetes, counting on the fact that it would thus have a better starting point for recovering Silesia.

When the Polish intelligence revealed the plans of OKW he shared with Czechoslovakia, proposing the creation of a joint Sudeten Corps. Unfortunately, in Prague, old animosities and fears about cooperation with Warsaw took over. As a result, the cooperation agreement was only signed when the Germans were already at the border and both armies fought in a completely uncoordinated manner with the common enemy.
