B01 PLAN "EAST" v.4.2

Disappointed with the "Lokareska" policy, the authorities of the Republic of Poland realize that in an emergency situation from the east or west, they can not count on an alliance with France. An additional impulse for action was the 1925 German war, the customs war, and the Soviet-German "Friendship and Cooperation" agreement signed in April 1926. In such an aggravating situation, Jozef Pilsudski was preparing to take power. However, the premature death of the Marshal on May 2, 1926 led to confusion on the Polish political scene.
In June 1926. Wladyslaw Sikorski was the Prime Minister of Poland, with the support of the center-right parties, the socialists and the peoples.
The Minister of Military Affairs was appointed General Tadeusz J. Rozwadowski. Under his leadership a plan for the development of the Polish Armed Forces was developed.
The main assumptions of the plan were the development of armaments and aviation. Already at the end of August 1926, an experimental Corps of Motorized Forces was created. On its basis, the first large armored motor units were created. The outbreak of the Great Depression slightly hampered the development of the modern army, but on the other hand the development of the defense industry caused the depreciation of the effects of the crisis.

In 1933 When A. Hitler came to power in Germany, Poland already had min. 3 DPanc and 2 DZmot. In subsequent years new divisions were created, so that in 1938 there were already 6 KPanc (2 DPanc, DZmot, BArt.). In early 1939. The mechanization of the infantry division and the few cavalry units began. Adolf Hitler could not underestimate such power. Therefore, he strove for an alliance with Poland. It was supposed to be targeted at the Soviet Union. Bearing in mind the subdued tone of the statement of the German Chancellor and his assurance of the integrity of the Polish State,
The government in Warsaw has decided to accept the proposal of a Western neighbor.
In October 1936. In Warsaw an anti-Soviet allies system (commonly known as the "Warsaw Pact") is concluded.
At first they were signed by Germany, Poland, Italy and Japan. Later, the Alliance was joined by Romania, Italy, Yugoslavia and Bulgaria. For fear of the UW, France and the USSR contain a defensive alliance in the early 20th century. 1937

The governments of the signatory states of the anti-Soviet pact establish a common strategy of action:
- Germany denies the war in France but does not undertake major military operations at an early stage.
- It was assumed that the USSR would attack Poland, Romania and Lithuania (to hit its territory in East Prussia) to help France.
- At the moment of the Russians attack, the Germans flip their forces east to the east, while in the west they remain, With DP, shielding power.

The operating area was divided into 4 fronts:
-Price East (Germany)
-Poland (Poles and Germans)
-Poland South (Poles)
-Balkans (Italy Hungary, Romania)

And part of the plan (East plan) assumed a pull of enemy force. Max on the line Stryj-Lww-Lublin-Warsaw-Mawa-Olsztyn-Krlewiec, beat the Soviets to then counterattack.
The second part of the plan was to strike the USSR with all coalition forces (including Japan in the far east) until the final victory.
Part III of the plan is an attack on France.
